Protect the ocean

Our ocean is suffering. The beauty industry is a big contributor to plastic waste. Did you know that the beauty industry produces more than 120 billion units of packaging globally. Shockingly, only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has been recycled, about 12% has been incinerated, and the rest — a whopping 79% — has ended up in landfills, dumps, or the natural environment.

Plastic pollution is causing significant harm to marine life. Over 100 million sea animals die because of plastic every year. Plastic doesn't break down in the sea; it falls apart into smaller pieces known as microplastics, which become even more toxic with time. These microplastic particles which can't be treated by wastewater filtration and can easily enter rivers and seas, where they can be ingested by marine animals and enter the food chain.

To protect the ocean, it's our mission to be thoughtful about what goes into our formulas and what kind of packing we use. Our aim is to minimize our enviormental impact.

We use sugarcane bottles and or Post Consumer Recycled PP materials, while maintaining quality standards. For our solid bars we don't use any plastic. All of our products are recyclable and refillable. Our formulas are 100% micro plastic free.

If we don't take action now, the situation will only get worse. In fact, by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. We don't want plastic in the water, and we certainly don't want it in our bodies. That's why we're committed to reducing plastic waste and helping consumers make sustainable choices.

SOLID BARS

We initially started our business with 100% free plastic solution with our solid bars. They enable you to drop the bottle. Traditional shower products consist largely of water. Solid bars are concentrated. Water as an ingredient isn't a bad thing, but it is in terms of transport. By removing water from the product, relatively less transport is needed and therefore reduces CO₂ emissions. Plus: one bar will last at least as long as three bottles of traditional product. Good for you and the planet!

Sustainable bottles

We understand that for some people, the durability and convenience of bottles is an important factor in their decision. That's why we're committed to finding sustainable solutions that meet the needs of all our customers.

To that end, we've been working on developing new types of eco-friendly plastic, such as plant-based bioplastics, that are more sustainable than traditional petroleum-based plastics.

Our goal is to provide high-quality body care products that are good for both our customers and the planet. By offering a range of sustainable packaging options, we hope to make it easier for everyone to make more conscious choices about the products they use every day.

In our quest to make our packaging as sustainable as possible, we came across Sugarcane. You might know sugar cane from the plant where we get sugar, but that's not all we get. Once all the sweet essence is removed out, the left over bagasse is converted in a plant based bottle. Sugarcane is currently the most sustainable alternative for regular plastic. Not only are sugarcane bottles made from a plant-based raw material, but the sugarcane plant is a renewable source. On top of that, this plant also removes CO₂ from the air as it grows (for every kg of sugarcane produced, it removes 3.09 kg of CO₂ from the air). After use, sugarcane bottles are 100% recyclable. The production of sugarcane packaging is carbon neutral, meaning that it does not contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. The process of producing sugarcane packaging also generates renewable energy, making it an eco-friendly option.

Besides Sugarcane Bioplastic, our caps and triggers are made of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic. This type of plastic is made from products that people recycle every day, such as aluminium, cardboard boxes, paper and plastic bottles. So with PCR plastic, this 'waste' is given new life. Not only is Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic sustainable, it is also strong in terms of quality.

One big change, one big impact

Refill system

Renew your empties the responsible way. Our refill bottles are made out of recycled Plant-Based Sugarcane Bio Plastic. In order to reduce the amount of single use plastic you use we created a refill system that works: reuse your previous pump or trigger on the refill bottle. This way you contribute to the eradication of the plastic pollution, with minimal effort. You can dispose the left over bottle and cap separately to ensure a circular recycle economy, and by doing so, you're making a positive impact on the environment.

Soy wax candle

Many conventional candles on the market are made from paraffin wax, a byproduct of petroleum refining, which can release harmful chemicals into the air when burned.

our luxury candles are crafted from sustainable soy wax, which is derived from soybeans, a renewable resource. Soy wax is also biodegradable, making it a more environmentally-friendly choice compared to paraffin wax. In addition, our candles feature an organic cotton wick, which is free from harmful chemicals and pesticides commonly found in conventional wicks.

Our candles are carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients to ensure a clean and natural burn, so you can relax and indulge in their soothing glow with peace of mind.
